Not all keyboard languages are available with the default Android keyboard app. If you cannot find the keyboard language that you need, or the add-on dictionary is not working with your language you may need to install another keyboard app.
We recommend downloading and installing this official Google keyboard version:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin&hl=en
APK file also available to direct download here:
https://download.chinavasion.com/download/Others/com.google.android.inputmethod.latin-1.apk
Once installed, go to Settings > Language & input menu. Enable tick the checkbox for the new "Google Keyboard" input method and disable the default AOSP keyboard.
Tap the settings icon at the "Google Keyboard" item.

Select the keyboard language:
Open Input languages and select keyboard languages that you want to use.
Select the add-on keyboard dictionary:
Go back and open "Add-on dictionaries" menu. Tap "refresh" on the bottom, then browse for the desired dictionaries. Select the one you need and tap "install".
You can even fine tune the word prediction/suggestion in “Auto-correction” and “Show correction suggestions” menu.
If you do not like this keyboard, then a good solution is to install other 3rd party powerful keyboard apps such as SwiftKey or TouchPal.
You can find many keyboard apps in Google Play Store for free. These keyboards are popular, offer many multilingual overlay and dictionaries and also highly customizable.
