The Android system allows you to customize the default Keyboard app language (keyboard layout), even you can add multiple keyboard languages at the same time.
To do this open the Settings > Language & input menu.
Open the settings menu of the Keyboard
Open Input languages menu and choose your desired input language(s) from the list.
When done just exit the menu.
If you choose more than one keyboard language, then you will be able to switch between the languages on the keyboard.
Tap the globe icon on the keyboard or touch and hold space bar to switch between the enabled keyboard languages.
