According to the latest news from DHL, all shipments received into India need below paperwork to be presented to Customs during shipment clearance:
- For personal import, POA (Power of Attorney) and copy of passport or Identity or PAN number are required;
- For company import, IEC code (Importer Exporter Code Number) ,POA and KYC record are needed;
Absence of above documents will mean clearance delay and shipments will be abandoned by Customs Bond 5 days after arrival without any notice to shipper or consignee.
